Squeeze of lemon juice. Pour Hakushu and green tea into a mug, add honey, ginger and lemon juice. Stir until honey is dissolved. Add ginger slice and serve.   Suntory Japanese whiskies are world beaters having won more than 60 international awards since 2003 and whisky lovers have taken to them. There is something about their subtle aromas and delicate flavours which appeal to the palate whether taken neat, over ice, in cocktails or in a hot toddy as left..

ANGEL ANDY GRANT; A SPECIAL ARGYLL HOT TODDIE!

A good measure of a good whisky (NOT malt!) - a good measure of honey (pouring's easiest) and hot milk. Pour the whisky into the mug, then pour in the honey and mix well. Then pour in the hot milk and stir really well - then drink. I've found that after 3/4, the cold abates quite quickly. It's also good just for drinking on a really cold, miserable day. Anyone in my family has a cold immediately ask me to make them a toddy, simply because they work so well. Slainte Andy (left).
